

In an interview with Pocket Gamer back in January, developer SPL revealed that the rear touchscreen can be used in special game modes that players can enter on occasion, with the accelerometer altering the direction in which the game's tokens fall onto the playing field. This match-three puzzler takes full advantage of the PS Vita's hardware, including its front- and rear-facing touch panels and its accelerometer. In fact, according to a press release sent out by the game's publisher, Treasures of Montezuma Blitz is the world's first - not including MMOs - console game to be offered completely free of charge with "freemium options".
